The ancient City of Ibadan, the city of first will for the first time bring together 32 Compounds to participate in the much publicized Ibadan Community Cup 2021

This was contained in a release made available to newsmen by a member of the Committee of Ibadan Community Cup, 2021 who doubles as Media Coordinator of the local fiesta, *Sunday Agunbiade* and signed by the Chairman of the Local organizing Community,  *Coach Kayode Ogunleye* , popularly known as *Coach John Kay*

CEO Kayog Sports International, a member of Oyo F.A Association who partners with Oyo State Football Association noted that the main objective of the competition is to further associate and slur the people  of Ibadan together for more beneficial purposes using football ambience royal as a tool

The draws which had in attendance the sons and daughters of the soil at Olubadan Stadium on Thursday included *the former Deputy Speaker,Oyo State House of Assembly, *Honourable Olaniyan David Akoro*, FIFA graded Referee and Match Commissioner, *Comrade Kola Sangowunmi,* and other dignitaries unionized and familiarized on a larger mileage

Speaking at the event, Honourable Olaniyan Akoro said the time is ripe for Ibadan to have more Amateur Clubs to represent the state at the National competition while Fifa badged Referee Kola Sangowunmi took representatives of the compounds the new laws of the game

According to Coach Abiodun Lawal Udi who coordinated the draws ,the fixtures are as follows:

✓ Eleta community vs Aroro Arulogun community

✓ Ayegun community vs Foko community

✓ Abaonde community vs Olusetan compound

✓ Wakajaye community vs Afonta community

✓ Ile-Eleta compound vs Adeoyo compound

✓ Apata community vs Olubota compound,Kudeti

✓ Alli Iwo community vs Oganla community

✓ Oloolu compound vs Olodo community

✓ Ifeleye community vs Akinlawon community

✓ Oke' Badan community vs Abidikugu compound,Ojaaba

✓ Irepodun Alaja community vs Agugu community

✓ Olorunda/Aba community vs Olunde community

✓ Adepo compound,Oranyan vs Kute community

Inu-Odi Odeyale Oguntedo community vs Gbekuba Aalo

✓ Abayomi community vs Oloosaoko community.

The release noted that the name of the sponsors, date and venue would be released soon

 Coach Ayodeji Adeyemo Charles (Coach AY), Coach Abiodun Lawal Udi, Coach Musiliu Sanusi( Coach Ilerika) or Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR) were all part of the committee

Irepodun Alaja Community, Moniya won the first edition after a pulsating penalty shoot out (10-9) against Olodo Community World Wide, Olodo, Ibadan .
