Osun State Football Association has commended the management team of Adeleke University, Ede, for their foresight in developing a world class Sports Complex within the academic environment amidst a serene landscape.

Following a tour of the arena under the guidance of the Sport Director of the University, Diran Alao, the FIFA standard eco friendly pitch would aid athletes performance, at any time of the day and in any weather conditions.

In addition to the main seating and roof structures, there are various ancillary outlets and facilities such as locker rooms, electronic scoreboard, player facilities, administrative offices, concession stands, restrooms, ticketing areas, media facilities, friendly ecosystem with neatly planned car park and more.

While having exclusive discussions with the top brass of the institution, after the tour of the five thousand capacity arena, Osun FA boss lauded the initiative by the the institution and the Pro-chancellor, as he assured vital engagements concerning the facility.

"We are mostly impressed with what's on ground as we came on a tour cum solidarity. We don't expect anything less from the university, the university as always been a centre of excellence. Osun FA is so proud of this beautiful centre.

"The infrastructure is so good and it must be used, AU needs to work with relevant stakeholders in the community as regards the facility. The biggest challenges in Osun Football is the absence of good sporting facilities. Good facilities will aid the developments of our footballers. We are so blessed in Osun State with about 74 higher institutions, our proposed Intercollegiate Football League will come alive with edifice like this.

"One of the veritable ways to engage talents across institutions is to organise football competitions with this kind of infrastructures. I really commend you. In Osun FA our focus is to develop football all round, this facility will help us to achieve the objective." Osun FA boss stated.

While playing host to the FA contingent in his office after the arena tour, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Solomon Ajayi Adebola appreciate the FA for painstaking trips and the commendation. He noted that, though work is still ongoing at the Complex, the timeline set will not be exceeded.

"Kudos must be given to our chairman Dr. Deji Adeleke for this noble centre which usage would not be limited to the university alone. We would love to work with you and are ready to host any program you bring here, the developments of our students all round is the focus. The quality of materials used is top notch as you have confirmed, infact, in two weeks time, the centre will be good to go."
