The chairman state of Osun Football Association, Chief Rasaq Ishola Mustapha RIM has once again announced his readiness to revitalize  the grassroot football administrations and competitions in the state.

He made this known while featuring on inspiring, blaze and balmy Sports Platform, 'Family United By Football' FUBF.

While answering series of questions posed by the participants, Ajiroba noted that, grassroot is life and attention should be given to activities taking place in the grassroots.

"Let me remind you that grassroots have produced some finest products in the  state. The likes of Late Taiwo Joseph Ogunjobi and Ademola Adeshina are few examples of our products who made it to the the top.

" We have met grassroot coaches and they have been intimated with what we have in stock. Gone are the days of saggy ways of doing things which includes but not limited to unapproved competitions.

"We are currently negotiating with foreign partners who will soon come in to provide technical supports to our grassroot clubs. We have a lot to enjoy from those partners when our conversation is ripe, but our house must be in order.

"Therefore, we have decided to revitalize and digitalize our activities from the state to grassroots. Each grassroot club and our affiliated football academy should visit the secretariat for proper registrations and documentations at no cost." Chief Rasaq Ishola Mustapha, the British trained lawyer expressed.

He further noted that, harsh economy in the state is seriously hampering the momentum at which  the association wants to operate but the federation would not relent on its oars of securing partners and worthwhile sponsors.

"We have succeeded in bringing His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi (Ooni of Ife) on board and Kabiyesi has agreed to sponsor the famous and iconic state Challenge Cup now christened 'Ooni Cup'. We have also opened talks with potential sponsors for our inspiring programs such as State Youth League, ALGON Cup and Principal's Cup among others." RIM, who was the sole financier of defunct Nationwide League One outfit Ajiroba Ooni FC concluded.
