Eguma goofed for blasting LMC as Rivers Utd tender apology

Rivers United has posited that, Eguma's  leaden comment about the league organizers didn't in any way represent the interest of the club.

In a statement made available to the public by the club media, the Pride of Rivers found the comments so demeaning and has since apologize on behalf of the coach.

"Rivers United FC has  dissociated itself from comments made in some sections of the media by its Technical Manager, Stanley Eguma which appeared to question the effort being made in developing the League.

"Rivers United wishes to make it clear that Eguma's comments do not reflect the views of the club.

"Eguma has since apologised for any inconveniences caused by his comments and necessary interval review is being undertaking to avoid future occurrence.

"Consequently, Rivers Utd wish to apologise to LMC and the NPFL clubs for this avoidable action of our coach." The statement concluded.

Recall that Eguma yesterday blasted LMC over perceived Television Blackout and poor organisations, his views has been faulted by his employer hence the apology.
