Fast rising youth sensation Feyisetan Asagidigbi has been named amongst thirty five (35) players that will represent C. A. Banfield, a modest Argentine Primeria Division side in 2019/2020 football season.

Born in 1999 in Ilesha to a footballing family, Feyisetan has started making his own name in Argentina where he's been dubbed 'African Neymar' by club faithfuls.

Banfield boss, Hernan Crespo has been impressed by the talent coming up through the rank in the club. Feyi's pace and his trickery with the ball is said to be reminiscence of his father 'Seun Asagidigbi, who played for famous Nigerian clubsides such as Stationary Stores, Shooting Stars among others.

Feyi has made genuine progress in Argentina and was hugely impressive in preseason. His dribbling skills, footwork, good vision for final passes coupled with classical solo efforts has been his strongest assets.

The most established youth player in Banfield represented Nigeria in 'Botswana 2014' during the second edition of African Youth Games where he won gold medal with National U-15 side. The nation paraded brilliant talents such as Toyeeb Gidado, Ahmed Gero, Musa Mohammed, Elvis Onyeka and Miracle Okocha among others.

Days before the start of a new Super League, Feyisetan Asagidigbi will appear in jersey number 28 for his side. Notable amongst the senior players named are; Arboleda Mauricio, Dátolo Jesús, Toledo Hernan, Linares Nicolas, Gutierrez, Villagra Claudio, Fontana Agustin, Asenjo Mauricio and Carranza Julián among others. Hernan Jorge Crespo side will debut as a visitor to Arsenal in Sarandi next Monday.
