The Osun State Football Association (Osun FA) is pleased to announce a partnership with Prostar Sports Kits as an Official Football Partner of the Association, strengthening ongoing efforts to develop, promote and professionalise football across Osun State.
The partnership follows a formal request by the Osun FA for Prostar Sports Kits to support the Association’s football development programmes and competitions. Prostar subsequently confirmed its commitment to working with Osun FA to contribute to the growth of football and youth development across the State.
Osun FA currently oversees and supports a growing football ecosystem that includes the SmartCity Osun State Football League, Osun State Women’s Football League, Osun State Corporate Football League, Osogbo Street Soccer Challenge, Osun State Intercollegiate Football League, Osun State Principals’ Cup, Osun State Headmasters’ Cup, as well as other grassroots, youth and developmental football programmes across the State.
Under the partnership, Prostar Sports Kits will provide material and promotional support to selected Osun FA competitions, including:
20 pairs of tracksuits and 20 shirts in support of the Osun FA Cup;
Six Prostar footballs and 10 Prostar-branded shirts for the final of each supported competition;
Two Man of the Match awards at the semi-final stage of supported competitions.
According to Prostar, the items will be supplied progressively as the respective competitions advance.
The partnership will also provide Prostar Sports Kits with visibility across supported competitions through official photographs, videos, social media content, match-day activities, branding and other available promotional platforms. Prostar has requested that the Association provide at least one week’s advance notice ahead of relevant activities to facilitate adequate preparation and production.
Speaking on the partnership, the Chairman of Osun State Football Association, Mayor Sola Fanawopo, said the collaboration represents another important step in building stronger partnerships between the football administration and the private sector.
“Osun FA is
committed to creating an enabling environment where football can grow at every level, from grassroots and schools football to organised leagues and competitions. Partnerships such as this demonstrate the important role that corporate organisations and sportswear companies can play in supporting football development.
“We appreciate Prostar Sports Kits for responding positively to our partnership proposal and for committing resources towards our competitions. We look forward to a productive relationship that will benefit players, coaches, officials, clubs and young footballers across Osun State.”
The Association said the partnership aligns with its broader objective of creating a sustainable football ecosystem in Osun State by connecting competitions, players, schools, clubs, corporate organisations, sponsors and other stakeholders.
Osun FA believes that the collaboration with Prostar Sports Kits will contribute to improving the quality and visibility of its competitions while providing the sportswear company with a platform to connect with football clubs, players, coaches, schools, corporate organisations, grassroots stakeholders and football supporters across the State.
The Association appreciates Prostar Sports Kits for its commitment and looks forward to building a mutually beneficial partnership that contributes meaningfully to the growth of football and youth development in Osun State.
