Eaglets finished as Group B winners despite losing 2-1 to Australia. Netherlands qualified from Group D as one of the four best third-placed teams.
The Netherlands who need 4 goals in their last group match against USA surprisingly surged into knockout phase contention by soundly defeating USA 4-0 on Saturday night in their Group D finale at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019.
Holland qualified as one of the best losers. Netherlands lost to Japan 0-3 in their first group D match, were also defeated by African side, Senegal but won the USA 4-0 to sail through to Round of 16.
