Fresh, Inuwa, Alkali, Oliseh, storm Oshogbo for Ogunjobi Golden Cup Final.





All roads lead to Oshogbo, State of Osun capital for the finals of the second edition of Ogunjobi Golden Cup scheduled for Saturday September 16, at the Oshogbo Township Stadium, codedreporter.blogspot.com.ng gathers.


No fewer than thirty-two (32) grassroots teams in the State of Osun participated in the competition before the final sponsored by former Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation Chief Taiwo Joseph Ogunjobi, and organized by the Osun Football Association, to boost discovery of talents at the grassroots.


The finals will be between two giant grassroots club sides in the State of Osun, as Yaa Jamiu Isibo FC of Ede battle Olorunda Local Government FC of Oshogbo.


Ogunjobi, the Pillar of Sports in Osun has transformed the state through the part of football development with series of football competition staged within the nook and crannies of the state.


Every logistics have been put in place ahead of what would be the most exciting grassroots final and the people of the State of Osun cannot wait to experience the crowning of the tourney champion.



The organizers of the tournament, have offered assurances of a memorable experience to the finalists, fans and top football administrators that will be in Oshogbo for the final.


The 2017 Ogunjobi Golden Cup final will have the Executive Committee Members of the Nigeria Football Federation with over fifteen (15) State FA Chairmen confirming their attendance.



Prominent among Nigeria football big shots billed to storm Oshogbo town, venue of the final are Chairman Nigeria Football Federation Referees Appointment Committee and member CAF Technical Committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh (Sardauna Kwallow), whom many have identified as the beacon of light in Nigeria football, NFF Executive Committee member and Chairman Kano Football Association, Alhaji Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan, Chairman Nationwide League One, Chairman Nasarawa Football Association and NFF Executive member, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali, Chairman Borno Football Association and NFF Executive member, Babagana Kalli, and Chairman Adamawa Football Association and NFF Executive Member, Alhaji Musa Duhu.


Others include President FC Ebedei, Barrister Churchill Oliseh, Ex-international and President Players Union Dahiru Saidi, CEO Nationwide League One, Alhaji Ahmad Kawu, NFF Psychologist Dr. Robinson Okosun, President General Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, General Manager Phoenix ASC, Bayo Olanlege, member NFF Match Commissioner’s Appointment Committee, Manzo Mohammed, together with prominent football administrators, coaches, club owners and top journalist will grace the finals.


Meanwhile, Nigeria's foremost sports kitting company Cone Sportswear will kit the two finalists.
