MANU GARBA ON SONG AFTER AWAY DRAW



Gombe United's gaffer Manu Garba (OON) has commended his lads fighting spirit in their NPFL week 27 one all draw with the Solid Miners at the Lafia Township Stadium.


 In a chat with Gombe United fc Media ,the former U-20 National team handler said  the players lost concentration in the first stanza but found their rhythm in the second half.


" I must confessed that my boys made several mistakes before the break which gave room for the hosts to score,and even missed several key chances. But after talking to them in the dressing room they went into the second half more focused and rejuvenated ".


 " We want to win all our remaining matches, as we focus attention to getting out of the relegation waters ".


 He added that Nasarawa United is a very good tactical club who are on top of their form, and to secured a point at their home ground is to show how determined Gombe United are.


 While applauding Sani Mohammed Abbani for coming to the rescue in two consecutive games coming from the bench ,he specifically thumbs up Danjuma Hussaini whom he described as " Man Of Match " for his outstanding performance.


 The football tactician gave pat on the back Ibrahim Fagge ,the Central Referee and his Assistants  on the way and manner they handled the match and hoped such type of officiation  will continue to take  centre stage in all NPFL match venues.


 On the the Nigeria double header World Cup Qualifier against Cameroon coming on August and September respectively ,Manu Garba said the players must show commitment and should  know that   is a honour to don the national colours.


Gombe United will host their local rivals El-kanemi  Warriors  this Sunday at the Pantami Stadium.
