NNL: Elechi extols George's resilience

by Peter Abaje
Go Round FC young full back, Vincent George has received praises from head coach, Ngozi Elechi after his super performances for the team since the League began.

A rookie player, discovered in Port Harcourt in 2016 as he played in the Brown Ideye Challenge for Garden City Panthers, his eye catching performances at the Krisdera Stadium has not gone unnoticed.

Ngozi Elechi has described Vincent as the most improved player in the squad this season.
Elechi told GoRoundFC.com.ng that Vincent’s sterling in their last three games against CrownFC, Bendel Insurance and Bayelsa United has shut the mouth of critics who were of the opinion that a club seeking promotion should not have recruited a rookie who lacked staying power at the start of the season.
“Vincent has improved tremendously since he joined us from one of the amateur sides that participated at the Brown Ideye Challenge football competition last year”,Elechi said.
“His confidence is growing by the day, he had a very good game against Crown FC in Omoku, Bendel Insurance in Benin and now Bayelsa United.
The young lad is learning fast,” Elechi said.
“He started as a winger but today he is more than comfortable playing as a left wing back and he is equally good in dead ball situations.”
An excited Elechi assures that Vincent George will continue to enjoy the support of the technical crew as long as he stays committed to his goals.
“We will continue to encourage Vincent with regular playing time because that is all he needs to raise the level of his game even to the benefit of the team”,Elechi said
