NWFL: Elijah confident of Super Four
Osun Babes captain Esther Elijah has reiterated that her team have gradually regained their fearsome instinct in the on-going Nigeria Women Premier League NWPL even with just two matches to the end of the current season, codedsports.blogspot.com.ng gathers.
"We are getting good and positive results match after match which is good for our confidence and morale. It's no doubt we are gradually improving with each match and I see us doing even better in our subsequent matches.
"We are going to get more positive results as the level of understanding among us is almost perfect. The success we have recorded in the recent matches are a huge boost to claim more high flying results. We had gone six matches unbeaten before our last game against Adamawa Queens which was Mar with violence at the Atiku Abubakar stadium in Fufure.
"All our opponents usually gave us a scare but the unity, determination, commitment and resolve to excel helped us to subdue them. We shall take our new found strength and winning aura to our next opponent, Edo Queens even if we are playing at home on Thursday.
"It's going to be a fierce encounter against Edo Queens but we are equal to the task and should be able to get the three maximum points. Our main target is still very achievable. We are determined and motivated to win our next two games and finish among the top two to qualify for the super 4." said the former falconets defender.
The Omoluabi Queens are currently 4th on the log with 20 points and will welcome Edo Queens to Osogbo city stadium on Thursday in another battle that will determine their qualification for the NWPL super 4.
